By purchasing and accessing any online training course provided by Demi Roche Training Academy, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Accreditation & Certification
Our academy is proudly accredited by Beauty Industry Approval and provides training in accordance with our accredited course requirements.
Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of the relevant course and any required assessments.
Students are responsible for checking that their qualification meets the requirements of their chosen insurer before undertaking professional treatments.
2. Student Insurance & Professional Responsibility
Our academy holds its own professional insurance. However, this insurance does not extend to students or cover treatments they perform independently.
All students are responsible for obtaining and maintaining their own appropriate professional treatment insurance before carrying out treatments on clients.
Students must:
Follow all course instructions, techniques, procedures and safety protocols exactly as taught.
Adhere to the manufacturer's instructions and relevant health and safety requirements.
Ensure their insurance policy covers the specific treatments, products and techniques they perform.
Understand that deviating from approved training procedures may invalidate or affect their insurance cover, depending on their insurer's terms.
Failure to follow the prescribed training methods may result in treatments falling outside the scope of the student's insurance policy.
3. Health, Safety & Liability
All training must be carried out in accordance with the academy's instructions, appropriate hygiene standards and relevant UK health and safety requirements.
Students are responsible for ensuring they practise safely, work within their competence and comply with their insurer's requirements.
The academy accepts no responsibility for losses, injuries or claims arising from a student's independent practice where these result from failure to follow training instructions, negligence or inadequate insurance, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
4. Intellectual Property & Course Access
All course content, including videos, manuals, written materials, photographs, training methods and educational resources, remains the intellectual property of Demi Roche Training Academy or its licensors.
Course access is granted for individual educational use only.
Students must not copy, reproduce, distribute, share, resell, record or teach our protected course materials without written permission.
Unauthorised sharing or reproduction may result in termination of course access and appropriate legal action.
5. Course Purchases & Refund Policy
All courses are delivered digitally and contain protected educational content and intellectual property.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Regulation 37, customers who expressly consent to immediate access to digital content and acknowledge the loss of their cancellation rights will lose their statutory 14-day right to cancel once digital content is supplied.
By expressly requesting immediate access and acknowledging the loss of your cancellation rights at checkout, you agree that:
Once digital course content has been made accessible to you, following your express consent and acknowledgement, no refunds will be issued for a change of mind.
This applies whether you complete the course or not.
All training materials, techniques, videos and educational resources remain the intellectual property of the academy.
If you have not consented to immediate digital access and the loss of your cancellation rights, your statutory cancellation rights will continue to apply.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your rights where digital content is faulty, misdescribed or does not meet legal requirements.
6. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing a course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
These terms are governed by the applicable laws of the United Kingdom, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections.
